Sandwiched between two promises to rebuild the people and the land, we find the zenith of Jeremiah's prophecy. Verses 31-37 contain one of the most significant promises of God, on that will be spoken of at least 12 other times in the books of Hosea, Isaiah and Ezekiel. In each reference, the nation of Israel is promised a future covenant, her final future destiny.
