Last week we looked at eight promises in Jeremiah 30 - promises to give them hope. The promises to Israel now continue in chapter 31. In this section we see Jeremiah being given a series of hope-filled glimpses from God, each of them marked out by the phrase "Thus says the Lord" or an equivalent. Let's look at these five glimpses of hope God gave Jeremiah that night, giving hope that he would indeed ransom captive Israel.
