In our last study we completed Galatians 4, looking at the great allegory of two women and their two sons, representing two mountains and two covenants. Paul argues that we who believe do not trace our heritage to the slave girl Hagar, but to the free woman Sarah, the wife of Abraham. Chapter four ends with these words - words which flow without pause into Galatians 5:1: :So, brothers, we are not children of the slave but of the free woman. For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." In our text today, Paul asks and answers the question, "What matters most?"
