Gentleness is the eighth fruit of the Spirit, showing us the strength of being tender. It is a word that has three main ideas: to be submissive to the will of God, to have a teachable spirit, and to be considerate. When we are gentle with others, we are being Christlike, as Jesus was gentle. Gentleness comes into play in many of our relationships, so let's look at five relationships that give us opportunities for gentleness.
